1st March 2026 Kala & Beena
Hello everyone! I’m excited to introduce an innovative art tool making waves in our creative community. Kala, one of our most passionate contributors, is experimenting with acrylic markers—a medium that’s opening bold new possibilities in her work. Her adventurous spirit and fresh approaches continue to inspire, and I’m thrilled to showcase her latest creations here.
Her chosen themes—landscapes, trees, lakes, mountains, and expansive skies—come alive with vibrant intensity. Acrylic markers, known for their vivid, opaque colours and water-based formula, stand apart from watercolours because they don’t bleed and allow dynamic layering. Their versatility is remarkable, working beautifully on surfaces ranging from glass and wood to rock, fabric, and, naturally, paper.
Kala admits there’s a learning curve, but the results speak for themselves: each piece she creates radiates beauty and imagination. I’d love to hear your thoughts—have you tried acrylic markers, or do you have any tips from your own artistic journey to share?
