I couldn’t help but share this delightful Chinese-style painting of a Happy Dog by Ms Wendy. It beautifully captures the sheer joy that dogs bring into our lives. A happy dog, as depicted in the painting, always has its mouth open with its tongue out slightly and its eyes bright and shiny, radiating happiness.
Dogs are incredibly expressive creatures. You can decipher the meaning behind their expressions with patience and observation. And if you’re attentive, you can even understand the nuances of their bark. Once you’ve mastered these behavioural traits, your relationship with your dog will reach new heights, allowing you to live in perfect harmony with your pet.
When I first had Zara, my initial puppy, Allan shared some invaluable observation tips. These tips have since allowed me to understand my three dogs more deeply. So, if you’re a pet owner, remember to observe your pet, as it’s the key to a stronger relationship.
