I painted Kovalam Beach in Trivandrum using acrylic paint. Kovalam Beach became famous for tourists in 1930. Since then, we have seen tourists flocking to this beautiful piece of paradise every year.

The beach is situated on the Arabian Sea and is ideal for swimming, surfing, parasailing or sunbathing. Unlike other beaches with sandy colours, this beach has black sand because of ilmenite and monazite. The candy-striped lighthouse is a unique icon here at the beach.

Many beautiful beaches in Kerala are not as famous as Maldives but worth exploring. One is the Varkala beach, an hour’s drive from Trivandrum. Most beaches offer Ayurvedic massages, yoga sessions and other activities besides the delicious seafood. I hope my painting and description of this place will encourage you to visit this paradise on earth😊😊.
