I was immediately drawn to the simplicity of Isaiah Ong’s pencil drawing, a teenager who has previously shared his paintings on this website. The cat in the drawing seems to be communicating with me through its eyes, a feeling I often experience with my own pets🫠. Have you ever felt a similar connection with an animal or fish?
Cats are a common feature in Kuching, the city where Isaiah Ong is from. There are many types of cats, and they roam primarily around coffee shops. They are harmless and mind their own business, much like the cat in Isaiah’s drawing.
