A Walk to the Waterfall

22ndSeptember 2024 Mr Nandakumar

On a lazy afternoon, I took a bite of the red cherries left behind on the canvas that Wendy had beautifully painted in life-like colours. I stepped out and looked at the landscape that Wendy created. After a few minutes, as I crossed the bridge in Nature’s Elements, I looked down and was stunned by the ‘Abstract ‘patterns that resembled the dried leaves created in Mani Menon’s rendition in ink on paper. I walked a little further, and I could hear the distant rumble of a waterfall. I was wondering if there is a waterfall to cool oneself. To my surprise, as I moved a little further, I stood facing a massive waterfall. The thunderous noise frightened me but I was lost in the thick green cover of the mysterious forest.

I rolled up my canvas and my imagination and rushed back to complete what I call the Waterfall 2, a piece that holds a piece of my heart and soul. I hope everyone enjoyed following me through the web of paintings at www.1000storiestogether.fun. Thank you for being a part of this journey🙏🙏😊😊.

  1. The feel of the waterfall…
The gushing water as it tumbles from a height ..the coolness of the spray that creates a foggy appearance to the viewer ..all captured so beautifully with a few lines and splashes of colour.
