20th January 2026 Lavender & Beena
Hello everyone. Today, I’m excited to share an inspiring acrylic painting by Lavender Jong. With swirling, vibrant skies reminiscent of Van Gogh, this artwork captures a magical path lined with flowers and a girl immersed in the simple joy of her walk.
Who among us hasn’t dreamed of wandering down such an enchanting path? The scene radiates happiness, fulfillment, and a sense of wonder. Painted lovingly for her niece, this piece would bring warmth and joy to any home.
Van Gogh, despite his extraordinary vision, sold only one painting to Anna Boch in 1888—though his very first went to Julien Tanguy. Often, he exchanged his masterpieces for food and art supplies. Only after his passing did the world truly recognize the brilliance and value of his work.
It’s natural to wonder why some journeys unfold as they do. Perhaps, like the girl in Lavender’s painting, the greatest contentment comes from embracing the present and finding joy in each step along the way.
