4th April 2025 Ms Joy Part 3   I painted this in watercolour. It depicts a farmer’s home by the kolam (pond) and a padi rice nursery before the next planting. For rice farmers, there is a lot of planning ahead of every new planting. The harvest depends on soil, water and weather.
