23rd November 2025 Shobha & Beena
ย
Hi, I am very excited to share Shobha’s creative craftwork, which she makes on various surfaces, including old doors, recycled whisky bottles, wooden stools, and glass. Her talent for transforming everyday objects into art highlights her artistic versatility and keeps the story interesting.
ย
She approaches her work in a free-flowing style, not concerned with the outcome. This method brings her great peace while she creates her art. There is some truth to this approach. In life, some of us plan carefully, like my friends who decided the age to marry, how to space pregnancies, or when to retire and travel. Personally, my plans seldom worked out, so I stopped planning in my 20s, as my experience showed otherwise. I used to admire people whose lives matched their well-thought-out plans.
ย
According to Shobha, creating her craft relieves her stress. I will share some of her work later and would love to hear your thoughts on her craft and my reflections on life. Do you think we should plan or go with the flow?
