Hello everyoneπ, this morning when I went cycling, a thought came to meπ. There was a slight drizzle, and then the rain stopped. But the sky was still grey. I thought of the painting that I had done a while ago. It had this beautiful glow after the rain. Well, that was my intentionπ. The technique is wet on wet, with ink for the posts. It shows a busy street with the evening glow of the setting sun.
Now let us discuss rain. I like rain sometimes, especially at night. However, I am disturbed by lightning and thunderπ¨. During the daytime, I love those raindrops that are so light that you can walk in the rain, and it feels like snowflakes falling on youπ€©. Do you have experience with rain? Please share your thoughts too.
Of late, the news of floods is disturbing and tragic. It seems like Mother Earth is fighting back. Climate change has arrived sooner than later. The only hope is that leaders finally believe the scientists on climate change and take the correct actions. Let’s hope, and just like my painting above, there is a glow after the rainπππ. We need to save the only place we call home. I will leave you with the thought, “does my painting offer hope after the rain?” π€π€π€

Actually what you experience brings out the best in a painting, street lamps and the evening glow have come out well the grays brings out the overall mood.
Lightning and Thunder can give you even the bravest man a jolt God gave heavy downpour and man managed to convert this to destructive flood remember the old song Raindrops Keep Fallin On My Head …..

I love the sound of raindrops on my roof. The sound brings me back to my childhood listening to them falling on the zinc roofing of my parents house. It makes me feel safe & comfortable βΊοΈ
