Learning

17th April 2023 Isaiah Ong Wei Jye and Beena

Hello everyone😊😊. Today I will introduce a young budding artist. He is Isaiah Ong Wei Jye, who is thirteen years old. His grandmother Lily Ong, who follows the stories on this website, sent me this artwork. I was delighted by the painting and have posted it here. 🀩🀩

I hope more young people will be encouraged to do creative work. It helps with one’s mental health and well-being. I loved his message in this painting; isn’t that beautiful? 🫠🫠No one can take away from you what you have learnt.

Learning helps us to understand many things that we see in life. I want to avoid delving into the semantics of categorising the type of learning. Life is a learning experience. We learn to discard what causes harm to ourselves or others with time. But some don’t discard the damage they do to othersπŸ˜’πŸ˜’.

However, art tends to bring peace and calm to our chaotic minds. Hence, schools are the best places to learn new skills and crafts. I never did much in my art class🀨😒, but then it’s never late to learn anything in lifeπŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½. Hence, I hope more young artists will post their work on this website, as there is no age limitπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ™.

  1. This is wonderful – so very excited to see a 13-yo submit a painting. Thank you so much Isaiah; your painting is wonderful and your willingness to share it with us even more so :-). Would love to see more of your paintings in the future.
