Hi, I would like to post the musings by Priya to my watercolour painting of the sunflower. I need help with painting flowers😒😒. I don’t know which way I should paint the petals to give that appearance of curling inwards or outwards. Many liked the painting today, and I am relieved. Many felt there was an air of randomness to the petals💃🏽💃🏽. Most loved the orange-yellow hues of the petals. Muru felt my stalk was too short for the big flower😊. I will continue to improve my skills in painting flowers. Please continue to critique my painting so that I can improve🤗🌻.

Sunflowers are my favourite, thank you for capturing it’s vivacious energy so beautifully!
The sunflower looks like a sun shining on us with warmth and good cheer. The title “Let the sunshine in” sounds familiar and stirred something at the back of my mind. Of course – The song, Aquarius/ Let the Sunshine in! Very much a song of the 60s but we are still definitely in need of “Harmony and Understanding, sympathy and trust” yearned for in the song and which is embodied in this painting and title.
