Life is as colourful and short-lived as a Bubble

When I shared this portrait of a girl blowing bubbles, it sparked a lively discussion. This painting, a product of my classwork, holds a special place in my heart. I meticulously crafted it with acrylic paints, using a palette knife to bring the background and the girl’s dress to life. I corrected some aspects of her face, as my art critic felt she had a moustache😊.

Many of you may recall the carefree days of childhood, blowing bubbles and watching them vanish into thin air. These were moments of innocent joy and laughter. However, for some, these bubbles held a more profound significance. I, too, found a unique perspective on the symbolism of bubbles, one that prompted me to reflect on the transient nature of life.

The main message about bubbles and life is the non-permanence of everything. Just like bubbles, whether big or small, they will eventually disappear. Aren’t events in our lives the same? We form friendships that may change and fade. Our contributions at work can be overshadowed by others who diminish our efforts. Like bubbles, we should enjoy life as long as it brings us joy but also accept that life continues, and we will discover other bubbles to please us. Bubbles will change throughout our lives, but we must find joy in the ever-changing scene😊🙏.
