Hello everyone. I loved the way my painting created many comments. I painted from a photo that Riccardo sent to me a few months ago. I loved those red roof tiles. My teacher suggested I paint it in Pointillism style. That was the tricky part, as it took a long time to complete.

Riccardo captured the photo in the enchanting village of Poffabro, Italy. This picturesque village, nestled in the province of Pordenone, with its population of 180, is a true gem. It’s not just one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, but a place that will leave you breathless with its views of the mountains, well-preserved medieval architecture, and charming streets. The 16th-century Church of San Floriano, with its beautiful frescoes and a wooden statue of Saint Florian, is just one of the many historical buildings that add to the village’s allure.

Reading the comments, I realized that my painting may not fully capture the essence of the beauty of Poffabro. It’s a place that’s worth experiencing firsthand. Some saw it as a mysterious, Dracula-like place, while others envisioned a beautiful evening with a bright moon held by loving fluffy clouds. I would love for many to visit Poffabro and see its beauty for themselves.

The comments made me realise that we have differing views; some may align with others, and some don’t. It is this diversity that forms the tapestry that we call living a lifeππ½πππ. Please share your thoughts; thank you.

This beautiful village population so small but rich of history , must be a very peaceful and pleasant place to live in . ππ
The night sky of a full moon night with a tiled roof has been captured so expertly with the swirling clouds perhaps playing hide and seek with the moon in a few moments??
Yes, Suchi, this was not easy using the pointillism technique, but my teacher felt that I could do it. Anyway, Ric liked it as he sent me this photo. Glad you liked it too.
