28th March 2026 Mrs Nalini Rajappan & Beena

It is my honour to present the captivating pouring art paintings by Mrs. Nalini Rajappan, a visionary artist whose contributions have significantly enriched this website. Today, I invite you to explore her stunning series of pouring artworks, each piece a vivid testament to her creativity and passion.

Pouring art, also known as fluid art, is a captivating abstract painting technique where vibrant acrylic paints, mixed with a special pouring medium, flow and dance across the canvas to produce mesmerising, marbled masterpieces. This energetic process encourages experimentation and wonder, resulting in stunning visuals that celebrate spontaneity and movement. From the bold “dirty pour,” where multiple colours are combined before being poured onto the canvas, to the dramatic “flip cup” and hypnotic “tree ring” methods, each technique opens up new creative possibilities. The “swipe” technique, where colours are gently dragged using a plastic card, further pushes the boundaries of creativity and visual interest.

The first piece in her series, “Purple Nebula,” stands out as a radiant exampleits vivid bubbles and swirling colours evoke a sense of wonder and excitement that immediately captivates the viewer. This artwork not only reflects the artist’s skill but also the therapeutic power of creative expression. Engaging with such art, whether as a creator or an observer, can be profoundly uplifting and healing. I encourage everyone to explore pouring art; it is a powerful form of art therapy that nourishes our mental well-being and sparks joy.
