9th April 2026 Paik San & Beena
When Paik San shared this painting with me, she described it as a reflection of her personal growth. Through her skillful use of acrylics, she captures the essence of femininity and transformation with gentle, expressive colours.
Many of us rarely think about our future selves or reflect on who we were in our youth, yet I found this idea deeply thought-provoking.
Why do we often avoid reflecting on our younger selves? Is there wisdom or comfort we wish we could give them, or do we simply accept that everything we experienced was vital for our growth?
Our childhoods are marked by unique journeys—many shaped by circumstances far beyond our control. Does this mean we have nothing to share with our younger selves, or is there always something to say? I invite you to reflect and share your perspective.
