Hello everyone…………. yes😊. It has been a while since I painted in acrylic on my own. The most challenging part was the sari folds😒😒. For my non-Indian readers, you may not fathom the intricacies of wearing 5 to 6 metres of cloth and making it look presentable🤣🤣🤣. It is sheer stress😤😤.
I was hoping to write about the frog waiting to become a prince after a kiss😎😎. However, I thought I would now write about waiting😊.
It was a challenging time recently for many who had to wait for election results that were too close to call. We saw that happen in the US just a few weeks ago. It happened in Malaysia, and it was unprecedented😨😨😨. Nevertheless, most of the public accepted the final decision🙏🙏🙏. Some will still be unhappy with the outcome. It is not easy to have the best result 😉😉🙏.
Someone will be unhappy. It is like in a family. I still remember my mother, who would buy something for us, and there will always be someone unhappy. She will tell the unhappy person, ” See, the others are happy with my choice. In time, you too will be fine”. 😊😊😊. Yes, her method worked as after some time, the unhappy person will accept and find no reason to be unhappy😉😉😉. (We did not have social media to influence us then🤣🤣🤣).
Now, back to my painting. Do you think that frog will get its wish? Will she accept him as a prince? Will she make demands as he was not what she expected? Or will she accept and move on and live happily ever after🤣🤣🤣. Only time will tell, as patience is a virtue.

It depends on the princess for the frog to turn into a prince Royalty is outdated. So I would substitute royalty with people who are par excellence A genuine ethical person can change a frog into a person who will reflect the generosity of the giver. Take care. Have a good weekend
Thanks Susan. I agree the noton of a fairy tale prince is outdated😄😄. These days one needs a true friend to be a soul mate, its a tall order but maybe worth waiting for😊😉

Thanks Itty, i still feel I can improve on the folds of the sari. The jewelry was a happy accident.
You can’t please everybody and should be pleased that at least somebody is pleased. 😂
That is a lesson we learn in life, but not willing to accept.
Unlike the classic story of the princess and the frog, I missed the connection and did not see her anticipation as waiting to be kissed , rather, to me the eyes revealed her zest for life and to experience it to the full.
As they say… we see things based on with what is resident in our hearts.
I see a strong reflection of your love for beauty in all forms through this painting. Enjoying the presence.
