Warm Feeling

I created this watercolour painting as part of my classwork. From the beginning, I knew it would be challenging. The painting depicts rocks above and below water, as well as tree roots beneath the surface. I have found rocks difficult to paint. They have many facets. Rocks underwater or near water tend to have smooth surfaces. Additionally, they feature many nooks and crannies with various types of vegetation growing from them. But with each stroke, I learned and improved. It’s a journey that I am sure many of you can relate to.

After nearly three classes, I started to enjoy painting. It brought a warm, pleasant feeling. Have any of you ever felt that way? Recently, I started baking cakes. I have always been afraid of baking. But every time I bake and see my friends enjoy it, I feel elated, just like when I finished this painting. I’m sure many of you can relate to this sense of achievement. It’s a joy that becomes even greater when shared with others. Please share your thoughts on this, thank you.
