Keep it Simple

10th April 2026 Mr Nandakumar & Beena

I am captivated by this pen-and-ink painting of a camel by Mr Nandakumar. Its striking simplicity commands attention and draws the viewer in.

This is a familiar challenge. When we aim to convey a message, simplicity and brevity are powerful tools. Today, especially among young people, attention spans are fleetingoften lost within moments if our explanation is too long. This trend is closely linked to the influence of social media.

Therefore, my advice to those who believe more words lead to better understanding is this: true communication is about making an impact, not overwhelming with information. If we capture someones attention, curiosity will naturally follow. Their questions indicate that our message has resonatedand that is genuine communication.
