Life is Unpredictable

28th December 2025 Wendy & Beena

Let us congratulate Wendy on her outstanding achievement: completing a magnificent 33 cm x 100 cm watercolour painting of the Great Wall of China in traditional Chinese style. Every brushstroke reveals her extraordinary talent and unwavering commitment, as she poured countless hours into capturing the spirit and grandeur of this iconic landmark. Wendys dedication and artistry are truly inspiring.

Inspired by Wendy’s achievement, I have connected with many talented artists on the website. As painters, we are united by our passion for art and the joy we derive from the creative process. While seeking inspiration can be challenging, our shared love for painting drives us to persevere and grow as artists.

In life, when we are passionate about what we do, we feel energised and time seems to disappear. I recall my younger years, when learning certain subjects felt endless and exhausting. Have you ever felt that way? The truth is, we can’t always choose only what we love; life presents us with unexpected hurdles. These challenges, though daunting, often become the very experiences that shape our strength and character, helping us discover resilience we never knew we had.

As I grow older, I have come to appreciate life’s unpredictability. I have witnessed events that seemed to arise out of nowhere, with causes beyond my understanding. Despite our best efforts, some things remain beyond our control. What defines us is not the events themselves, but the courage and wisdom with which we respond. How do you view this outlook on life?
