When I first encountered this ink-and-acrylic butterfly, I was captivated by the intricate background Mani rendered in ink and pen. This piece exemplifies Mani’s distinctive voice among the abstract paintings on this website—its compelling imagery urges us to pause, reflect, and focus on what truly matters.

As our conversation about Mani’s work continued, I delved into his creative process. He described spotting a Tiger Butterfly perched on a hibiscus flower, its vibrant wings commanding his attention and sparking inspiration. The butterfly’s striking colours became the focal point, mirroring the clarity we seek in our own lives.
