Hi everyone, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of comments I received on today’s painting. I painted this house at the edge of a cliff in watercolour and outlined certain areas with pen and ink. My greeting was, “Wonder what it is like to live in a house on a cliff’s edge?” I’d love to hear your interpretations of this piece. The chair is the challenging part to paint but I managed to get the perspective.
Many of you replied that you would be scared because of the height. I, too, have a fear of heights. I don’t enjoy the sound of constant waves at night. However, some of you would love to stay in such a place, and I must say, it takes a lot of courage to live on the edge like that.
Another aspect is the deeper meaning behind living on a cliff’s edge. We all experience moments in life where we find ourselves on the brink, facing challenges and uncertainties. Thank you for appreciating my art, and I hope you enjoy my perspective on this topic.
