Once again, Mr Nandakumar has defied every expectation in the world of art. Using a simple carpenter’s mesh—typically meant to keep insects out—he transformed it into a canvas for a mesmerizing dancing whale. Rather than traditional brushwork, he dipped paint onto the mesh, turning an everyday material into a striking work of creativity.
I am truly astounded by his technique: with just a single hue, he masterfully manipulated tonal values to conjure a vivid three-dimensional illusion. His work continually redefines what is possible in art, revealing that even the most unexpected materials can become vehicles for breathtaking expression.
