A Rainy Night

6th April 2025 Mr Nandakumar & Beena

This acrylic painting, a masterpiece by Mr Nandakumar, beautifully captures a rainy night. The silhouette of the person walking in the rain under an umbrella is a testament to the artist’s skill. The reflected light in the background and the glistening raindrops in the dark add a touch of realism to the scene.

Painting a rainy night is challenging, but Mr Nanda has depicted it with such realism. In the face of climate change, we are experiencing more rainy nights. I, like many of you, enjoy watching the rain from the comfort of my home, but the idea of being out in the rain is not always appealing. Some rainy nights, especially those with thunderstorms and lightning can be quite intimidating.

I invite readers to immerse yourself in this art and share your thoughts about a rainy night. Your perspectives are valuable and will enrich our understanding of this beautiful painting.

  1. I love this painting but can’t really make out what is illuminating the right side of the painting. Also can’t tell if he is carrying an umbrella or wearing a huge hat. Still overall it’s an intriguing and masterful piece of art.
