When Mr Nandakumar sent me this breathtaking painting of the red sun, I was deeply moved. Created in vibrant acrylics, it arrived as a heartfelt wish for “Happy Doctor’s Day.” His thoughtful gesture reminded me that, beneath the surface, doctors silently navigate a whirlwind of emotions in the blink of an eye—emotions that often go unseen and unspoken.
A red sun is a rare and striking phenomenon—sometimes signaling the quiet majesty of dawn or dusk, and at other times, a silent warning of pollution lingering in the air. While it’s impossible to know for sure what inspired this particular hue, rare sights like this remind us to pause and reflect on the world’s wonders and warning signs alike.
