Houses On a Hill

17th June 2025 Angela & Beena

When Angela sent me these enchanting houses on the hill, it felt like a page from the fairy tales of my childhood. Her use of acrylic paint was a stroke of genius, and the way she blended the colours was truly mesmerising.

As a child, these stories transported me to idyllic places, where I could imagine children playing games on rolling hills with countless hiding spots. However, even as an adult, I’ve come to appreciate a different side of houses on hills. They’re not merely a necessity born out of overpopulation but also a testament to human ingenuity and adaptability.

Nevertheless, not all is gloom and doom, even in crowded places. Strong, lasting friendships can be found in such environments. Human relationships are based on sincerity and honesty. The need to be there for others during times of hardship is a testament to true friendship.

Would you agree that it is not wealth that makes friendship but rather our integrity and honesty that truly matter? I would appreciate your thoughts on Angela’s art, which inspired me to write. Thank you.
