Shoba’s work on this wine glass is genuinely striking. The piece has a beautiful balance of elegance and joy — the transparent glass gives it a light, airy sophistication, while the vibrant floral painting brings warmth, personality, and life to it.
The gold outlining is especially impressive. It creates a stained-glass effect that catches the eye immediately and gives the artwork a refined, handcrafted luxury feel. The choice of colours — deep reds, turquoise blues, greens, amber and soft floral tones — feels rich without becoming overwhelming. Each flower flows naturally into the next, making the entire bowl look like a blooming garden wrapped around crystal.
What makes the piece memorable is that it does not feel mass-produced at all. It carries the charm of an artist’s hand: thoughtful, patient, and imaginative. The painted motifs work beautifully with the curved surface of the glass, which is not easy to achieve. Even the stem design complements the artwork elegantly.
Shoba has transformed an ordinary wine glass into something decorative, festive, and artistic — a piece that could easily become the centerpiece of a dining table or display cabinet. It reflects creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of colour harmony.
Thanks Jen
