Hello, everyone. I would like to share my friend Susan Thomas’s unique crochet work. She has crafted a variety of items that can add a special touch to any home.
I’m not sure how many of you crochet. My mum tried to teach me, but I preferred cross-stitch and knitting at the time. Now, when I see the beautiful creative items that Susan has made, I can’t help but feel a twinge of regret for not learning this skill.
For many of you engaged in creative work, let me once again highlight the therapeutic benefits of any form of skill. Whether it is knitting, crochet, carpentry, painting, or learning music, until you try it, it can be hard to explain that benefit. One of the reasons why we all need some access to creative skills is because, during times of crisis, these skills help us to cope with life.
