Hi Beena, thank you for sharing my pit-fired works here. I enjoyed reading about your thoughts on them. When I made these, they were in response to a piece of music by Purcell, The Cold Song. It inspired me to create a cocoon, to instil that feeling of safety and tenderness.
Perhaps one day if I can get hold of a bag of clay, in Kuching, we can have a hand building session.
Oh I would love to do that. However, I feel your tender nature is refected in your work. Thats what I like about any art. Our personalities come through. Thank you and please continue to contribute to this website.
