Creative Trash Series 1

14th May 2026 Shobha & Beena

If you’ve been following the stories or ideas shared here, you’ll know that creative art lies at the heart of this website. Today, I’m excited to spotlight Shobha’s innovative creations once again. Through her work, Shobha transforms everyday objects—items most people would discard—into striking artworks.

Her portfolio features art crafted from plastic bags, tissue paper, everyday bags, and even phone covers. What drives her to use discarded materials? It’s her belief—and mine—that by reimagining what’s considered waste, we can inspire others to see potential where others see trash and help reduce waste in our communities.

I’ve featured Shobha’s journey as an ongoing series. If you’ve created upcycled art or have thoughts on waste reduction, I invite you to share your stories here. Let’s spark a conversation about zero waste and creativity.
