Doodle Art Series 1

18th May 2026 Elly Jaap, Joe & Beena

I’m excited to share the unique doodle art created by ten-year-old Joe and her grandmother, Elly Jaap. Joe, a returning contributor, brings a fresh perspective and creativity that shine through in every piece.

Doodling is a powerful art form that soothes the mind, sharpens our focus, and offers a much-needed mental reset before diving into creative projects.

Doodle art can take many forms: geometric patterns, whimsical cartoon characters, or vibrant layers stacked upon one another.

The first piece, a collaborative effort by Elly and Joe, resembles a lively amoeba, swirling with personality. The second, crafted by Joe alone, features striking geometric patterns—look closely, and you’ll spot houses, stairs, stars, and trees woven into the design.

This kind of art is deeply therapeutic, offering creative release—especially valuable when facing a creative block or seeking inspiration.
