8th June 2026 Mani & Beena
A powerful theme runs through Mr Mani’s abstract artworks, evident in the striking way he portrays the owl, the bull, and the tiger. With remarkable skill, he brings these creatures to life, inviting viewers to engage with their captivating presence.
When we look at a bird or an animal, we are often confronted with the mystery of their inner worlds—a mystery I once found impenetrable. But life with my three dogs has been a profound education, teaching me that humans have so much to learn if only we pause to truly observe the world around us. Too often, we rush through our days, oblivious to our surroundings and even to one another. How many times have we tossed out a perfunctory “Hi, how are you?” and moved on without really listening? Why do we let these moments of connection slip by?
I invite our readers to reflect on how we connect—with animals, with people, and with the world around us. Thank you, Mani, for continually challenging and inspiring me to see more deeply through your art.
