Beena Devi is a retired oncologist who enjoys painting. Allan Hildesheim is a retired epidemiologist who enjoys dreaming. For many years they both conducted medical research to better understand a rare cancer called nasopharyngeal carcinoma. They met through their work. One day, Beena shared some of her paintings with Allan. That got Allan’s imagination going and so began an exchange that enriched both of their lives…

As Beena is a beginner in painting she looked for inspiration from other artists and added her own personal touches. We hope others would find inspiration to write their stories to the pictures. Happy writing…
