I love Christmas. Hence, when I saw this Christmas tree design, I decided to make it😊.
Macrame is a form of textile using knots; the most common knot is a square or reef knot. The earliest recorded ones were in the carvings during the Assyrian and Babylonian times. It became prevalent during the Victorian era, and many designs adorned many homes. Sailors made various patterns to cover knife handles, door knobs and others parts of the ship😅😅. I suppose to kill boredom; we can be creative, right? 😉😉😎. They then bartered these products when they arrived at the ports🤣🤣.
We love to make these trees to give as gifts. Christmas is a time of sharing. I love that time of the year. It is like winding down, and I hear lovely Christmas songs everywhere. I hope you liked the little craft I made as a gift, and enjoy your festive season wherever you may be😊😊🙏.
