I vividly recall visiting one of the Philippines’ iconic waterfalls, drawn by the exhilarating promise of the mist. As I approached the rushing water, fear gripped me—I worried I might slip and be swept away by the current. That day, I realized my deep respect for the immense power of nature, and I now prefer to admire waterfalls from a safe distance, savoring their spectacle without braving the icy spray.
