I painted this pot of tea with the ivy vine with acrylic paint on forex sheet (2mm) with dimensions of 30x42cm. The table look deep black as I added crimson red. To make the tea pot stand out, I painted with burnt sienna.
These are my thoughts about the painting:
Sitting in the portico of
An imaginary hill resort
Trying to see through the
Mist that’s blurring the
Solution to life’s petty
Problems expecting
The answers are in a pot of tea,
As the ivy vines look at you with sympathy.
