Hello there😊. Kala created this road scene from a picture that she took while she was here in Kuching. She painted this picture on Procreate.
We all have driven on many roads without considering the drive. Some drives are happy and uneventful. Some may turn out poorly. The drive was mundane into the interior routes of the main Kuching city. The houses are far apart, and you don’t see many cars or anyone on the road. However, Kala must have spotted this red truck. On a routine drive, a red truck will not garner any attention. But in a painting, it became the focus of that painting, right?🤔🤔
But when I saw this painting, I was struck by the red truck. It drew my attention. It is the same in life. We usually take daily events for granted. Nevertheless, when something happens, good or bad, the regular event gets absolute attention😒. But we can’t go through life with heightened awareness all the time, as I think that will tire us out😭🤦🏽♀️. My philosophy is when you go for a drive, enjoy the surroundings. We may never know what surprise lies ahead😆😆.
